What’s the Best KitchenAid Dishwasher?
Well, the best value is probably the KUDE40FXSS. Crazy value and performance, all at a price-point below $1000.
However if you are looking for the best performance, in Bosch you would step to the renowned 800 Plus Series. In KitchenAid, you would roll with the KUDE60 or KUDE70 Models. So the question is which do you choose?
The KUDE60FX and KUDE60SX models are pretty much identical performance and layout-wise:
6 wash cycles
16 place settings
The KUDE60SXSS has a visible read-out on the front, the FXSS has a hidden, integrated look.
The difference can be found in the energy efficiency – the KUDE60FXSS is more efficient as it consumes 279kw vs. 307kw for the KUDE60SXSS.
If you are looking for a completely different style but the same performance levels as the other KUDE60 models, check out the new KUDE60HXSS. It sports the old-school KitchenAid recessed handle (now dubbed the Ultra handle) design. Flexible racks, 2 fold-down tines, and 43 quiet decibels, the KUDE60HXSS is quiet the looker and performer.
What about the KUDE70FXSS? Technically I would rate this as the BEST dishwasher KitchenAid is producing because of the decibel level – they are down to 40dbs, which is just a tick above the industry-leading Bosch 800 Plus series. But other than that, this dishwasher is identical to the KUDE60FXSS model.
Prices? You should be able to snag any of these in stainless at around $1399-$1599.
